A Beautiful World: Art and Mathematics was the result of a collaboration between Carla Farsi, professor of mathematics at the University of Colorado and member of CORE New Art Space, Doug Craft, and Sue Simon of Spark Gallery (who curated the show). The exhibit included work in a variety of media by artists, mathematicians, and students inspired by the connections between art and mathematics. Other artists showing work included Janet Strickler, Stan Gudder, Pat Aaron, Anne Burns, Catherine Carilli, James Johnson, Jerome Malitz, Clark Richert, Russel Rockne, Jimmy Sellars, and John Vega.
